Today was a great day for the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office. We were able to partner with two local businesses (Alcova Mortgage, Garten Trucking) and purchase 50 turkeys from Bartley’s meat market. These turkeys were given away to families throughout Alleghany County who could use a little help during the upcoming holidays. It was a tremendous hit and it was nice to be able to help our local citizens.

We want to wish everyone the happiest of Thanksgivings, enjoy family and friends and also plenty of good food.
