I am a lifelong resident of Clifton Forge and the Alleghany Highlands. I began my Law Enforcement career in 1994 at the Clifton Forge Police Department as an animal control officer before being promoted to Police Officer/Patrolman. In 1998 I transferred to the Clifton Forge Sheriff’s Office as a Sheriff’s Deputy and remained there until the Alleghany County Regional Jail was built in 2000 when I was hired as a Deputy in the jail originally before being moved into a Patrol Deputy position. I have served in various capacities while being employed at the Sheriff’s Office and in 2018 I was placed into the Criminal Investigations Unit.

My law enforcement career began in 2015, where I was hired by the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office as a court bailiff, then began working in the Alleghany Regional Jail.

In 2016, I was moved from the Jail Deputy Position to Patrol Deputy.

I then served on the Alleghany Highlands Drug and Gang Task Force full time for two years. 

I am now assigned to the Investigations Division of the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office where I conduct general investigations and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Investigations.

I began my law enforcement career in 2015, where I was hired by the Clifton Forge Police Department as a patrol officer. In 2017 I was moved to the Criminal Investigations Division, where I was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

In 2021 I was hired by the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office as a Patrol Deputy/ School Resource Officer, spending two years serving in that capacity.

I am now assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office where I conduct general investigations.
