Continuing our busy weekend, The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office and Regional Jail and the Alleghany Highlands Community Services Board participated in the 26th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday at Wal-Mart in Covington and Kroger in Clifton Forge. We collected a record number of prescription drugs this year for disposal! If you could not make it out on Saturday, we do have a prescription drug disposal box here in the lobby of The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office and Regional Jail.
