The Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office and Regional Jail had a very busy weekend! As a part of our continuing initiative to make Alleghany County a wonderful place to live, we completed our second community trash pickup on Valley Ridge Road in Covington on Saturday. We picked up 55 bags of trash to be taken to the landfill. Please be mindful to not litter. Keep Alleghany County a beautiful place to live, work and enjoy.
