Project Lifesaver is a collaborative effort between law enforcement and community organizations that specialize in neuro-cognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's, Autism, and Dementia. The program aims to protect and quickly locate individuals who may wander or elope due to these conditions. Law enforcement agencies, including the Alleghany County Sheriff’s Office, Loudon County Sheriff's Office, and the Warren County Sheriff's Office, have partnered with Project Lifesaver to provide valuable equipment and trained personnel to assist in the location and safe return of vulnerable loved ones. The program is designed to reduce search times from hours or days to just minutes, offering peace of mind to families and caregivers.

This program is made available through donations from our community and is at no cost to recipients.
